Admission requirements

The Programme is targeted at students who have completed their undergraduate studies.

  LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
A good knowledge of English is required. Candidates must submit a proof of their proficiency in English by obtaining a TOEFL score (120/80), IELTS (6.5), or a BEST-BILGI English Standart Test (min.70).
In addition to the documents
listed  above, applicants must also provide - before the end of May 2009 - another test called GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) minimum 610 on the "quantitative section", or  GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) minimum 450, or ALES  (Turkish Graduate Programs Examination) minimum 55 points (for Turkish students only).

  REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:
Upon completion, candidates must submit a registration dossier to the I.E.H.E.I. secretariat.
This dossier must be accompanied by the following items:
Letter stating the candidate’s reasons for application:
• Curriculum vitae
• Application form
• Passport-size photograph of the candidate
• Copies of university diplomas and transcripts
• List of research papers written during your studies
• Two reference letters in sealed envelopes
• Documents certifying adequate knowledge of English TOEFL or IELTS and GRE or GMAT o
r ALES (for Turkish students only).

 SELECTION OF APPLICATIONS:
Candidates will be selected by a committee of faculty members, headed by the Director of the Institute.
A first meeting of the selection committee will take place at the end of April. After this first selection, applications will be examined upon arrival.

  DEADLINE :
Deadline for applications is the June 30th.
Applications which arrive after the deadline will be placed on a waiting list and will be considered if and when students who have already been selected cancel their participation. The last meeting of the selection committee will be during the summer break.
In any case, applications and requests for financial aid should reach the I.EH.E.I. as early as possible in order to have the best chances of success.
