Tuition & Living expenses
A.
TUITION
Tuition for the Master of Advanced European and
International Studies is
7500 euros.
This sum covers the following:
1. Accommodation
For the
trilingual branch:
- The accommodation expenses in Berlin,
Rostock and Rome will be entirely covered.
Students can use university restaurants, but
they have to pay for lunch and dinner expenses.
For the
anglophone branch:
- Accommodation expenses in Nice and
Berlin
are entirely covered. Students can use university
restaurants, but they have to pay for lunch and dinner expenses.
Note: For the students of the trilingual
branch, tuition does not include the
student’s accommodation and other living
expenses in Nice. For the students of the
anglophone branch, tuition does not include
the student’s accommodations and other
living expenses in Istanbul.
2. Travel expenses
Trips in the group to the different
locations of the program will be paid by the
institute. Only the return trip from the
town students reside in to the institute
will have to be paid by the students
themselves.
3. Study trip
Participation in the study trip
organised each year by the Institut Europeén
des Hautes Etudes Internationales to
international and European institutions.
4. Administrative Expenses
- Cost of preparation, registration and
processing of applications
- Administration of the student’s file
following acceptance, for the duration of
the academic year.
5. Documentation
- Free access to various libraries
- Supply of reading material for seminars
- Free use, (limited), of the Institute’s
photocopying machine for research purposes
- Free use of computers for internet
research and word processing
6. Other services
- Admission to international colloquia
organized by I.E.H.E.I. and the Centre
International de Formation Européenne
- Conferences organised specifically for
students of the IEHEI
B.
GENERAL LIVING EXPENSES
Students have to provide for themselves as far
as general living expenses are concerned (this
does not concern students with a fellowship).
I.E.H.E.I. students have – on their own expenses
- the right to:
- The French Social Security scheme for students.
It covers medical treatment and surgery for
students under the age of 28, for the entire
academic year, beginning on 1st October.
- Access to university restaurants in Nice,
Istanbul, Berlin and Rome.
C.
ACCOMODATION IN NICE AND ISTANBUL
Accommodation in Nice (for the students of the
trilingual branch) or in Istanbul (for the students of the anglophone branch) have to be
paid by the students.
The secretariat of l’I.E.H.E.I. cannot assist
students in finding accommodation. It can,
however, provide a list of addresses for
students looking for accommodation.
Note: An approximate monthly budget for food and
accommodation in Nice varies between 600 and
1000 Euros, for Istanbul costs are around 500
Euros.
